What makes a Shitoryu Shukokai martial arts school?
What are the common quality criteria?
What can a student expect in the Shukokai family?
These are the points...
1) => Year-round teaching and training program
All member schools have a year-round teaching program for all groups. These programs can be used both as face-to-face teaching and in virtual teaching.
The affiliated martial arts schools have incorporated the Shitoryu Shukokai Karate examination program into certified teaching systems. The lessons follow sports science curricula.
2) => Age-appropriate grouping
The groups are divided according to age and pedagogically recommended guidelines. In practice, a maximum of three to four year groups are grouped together.
3) => Small group sizes
In the children's groups, we ensure that there are enough karate teachers per participant so that the children's individual learning goals can be met.
4) => Teaching and deepening life skills
The teaching of safety and life skills is part of the elementary curriculum in all affiliated member schools and contributes positively to the children's growing independence.
The teaching programs correspond to the latest sports science standards. They contribute to the development of coordination and conditioning skills and help to improve motor skills and concentration.
5) => Compliance with the specified testing program
The national examination program is based on the requirements of the international examination regulations. From the fourth Dan Shitoryu Shukokai Karate examination onwards, the examinations are taken before an international examination board.
6) => Regular examinations
All affiliated member schools offer regular examination dates. This gives a Shukokai member the opportunity to demonstrate his or her level of performance four times a year.
7) => National and international seminars
High-level training courses on a variety of topics are regularly offered to members regionally, nationally and internationally. These are held virtually or as face-to-face seminars.
Since May 2020, classes have been held every Sunday via Zoom, with instructors from all over the world taking turns to teach them.
8) => Member of the international association – connection to Japan
Due to the close connection to the international Shitoryu Shukokai Association SSWU (Shitoryu Shukokai Karate World Union), all member schools in the German association are always in close contact with Japan.
9) =>Professional teaching teams
The schools in Germany are run by full-time head teachers. The lessons are led by teams of professional karate teachers who are supported by well-trained assistants.
The training and ongoing education of the teachers takes place according to an internationally established training system under the supervision of the Martial Arts Teachers Association (KLV).
10) =>Professional member and customer support
Each Shukokai school operates independently and is responsible for its own work. All schools have qualified and professional member and customer support.
11) => Joint external appearance
About the own homepage and the Social Networks Fast and comprehensive information is provided to all Shukokai members.
